I knew of Marti most of my life. I became better acquainted with her during her association with The Lindley Inn as a staff member. Her parents and mine were friends. We talked "horses". Marti's name was obliviously well connected with the area's equine scene! She staunchly adhered to the "Western" style of riding and I would tease her about my "English" background. Marti was a very special and spiritual person! My prayers are with the family!

I first met Marti when my family moved onto the same block of Morris Avenue 65 years ago. She and I were 3 years old, and we became lifelong friends. I left town but would come back from time to time and we would renew our friendship. She always had that same great smile, always made you feel like she was happy to see you, and it was always clear how much she loved her family and friends. I will always picture her smiling when I think of her, I trust she is smiling down on us right now. My most sincere sympathies go out to her 3 girls, the rest of her family, and those of us who were lucky enough to call her a friend.

I worked with Marti for years at TSKC. She was always very kind to me and enjoyed sharing things about her family and life. I am sorry for your loss.
