MICHAEL TAYLOR Obituary

DEBARY, FL MICHAEL TAYLOR, aged 66, passed away on July 19, 2025, in Orange City, FL. Born on March 2, 1959, Michael dedicated much of his life to the art of auto restoration and painting, working as a skilled auto body technician across various body shops. In his earlier years, he also worked as a truck driver.

Michael graduated from Athens High School and was known for his deep passion for NASCAR, particularly his admiration for Jeff Gordon. An avid fisherman, he often spent his free time by the water, reveling in the tranquility and challenge of the sport.

He is survived by his loving parents, Clarence and Helen Taylor of Debary, FL; his brother, Robert Taylor and wife Shelley of Deltona, FL; sister, Connie Holcomb and Johnny Caldwell of Bidwell, OH; daughters, Carrie Taylor of Nelsonville, OH, and Mikayla Taylor of Chauncey, OH; and step-daughter, Shianna Duncan of McConnelsville, OH. His life also touched many nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Michael was preceded in death by his longtime girlfriend, Linda Duncan; sister, Kathy Reed Yeisley; brother-in-law, Dale Holcomb; niece, Kimmy Hamilton; and grandparents, Orville and Elizabeth Stover, and Lester and Thelma Taylor.

In honoring Michael's wishes, no memorial services will be held. His legacy of craftsmanship in auto body work and his love for NASCAR and fishing will be remembered by all who knew him. MICHAEL TAYLOR
