Rita Brown Obituary
A graduate of Chauncey-Dover High School and Hocking College, she was employed at the Athens Mental Health Center as Director of Medical Records. She was a foster parent and enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and jigsaw puzzles.
Rita is survived by her son, Kenneth Kastely of Columbus; her daughter, Angela (Randy) Hooper of Trimble; four grandchildren, Natasha Willis and her fiancé Benjamin Hatfield, David Willis, Jr., Lane Kastely and Tyler (Summer) Willis; three great grandchildren, Arla Dixon, Kennedi Willis and Brantlee Willis; special cousins, Susan Reed, Vicky Reed and Sherry Reed; and a special friend, Carol Campbell.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Reed; and two brothers Edward Schoonover and Don Schoonover.
A private family graveside service will take place at Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield, at a later date. Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens. Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfuneralhome.com. Rita Brown
