Many, many years ago I had a problem with my car on the bypass. It's been so long I don't remember the nature of the problem but I do recall that Terry stopped and personally helped get me back on the road. That's the kind of guy he was and I will never forget him.

Edna and Jennifer, Melissa and I share your loss of Terry. He was a bright spot everywhere he went. His passion for Remembrance Day at Gettysburg and sharing his knowledge met no bounds. Heaven is a better place with Terry, the earth less warmed by his passing.

Most notable to Athen's resident Bill Walker and myself were the number of years Terry volunteered and was instrumental in the formulation of the Athens Minor Hockey Program. When I transferred to OU in 1963 to play for John McComb's OU Bobcats Terry was the Zamboni driver at Bird Arena. Terry permitted Bill and his "rink rats" to meet with me after our OU practices. Bill's father, Parker, with the assistance from Frank Queenan
of Detroit, Mich. brought down the initial hockey equipment for the program. That was the beginning and Terry was still volunteering when I stepped down as OU hockey coach March 8, 1984 to have more time with our family helping my wife show animals with our 4 children. Certainly a different kind of venture, but only because of Terry's unwavering dedication!

Was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with Frosty while coaching at Athens several years ago. He was instantly welcoming and treated me like an immediate friend. A wonderful person who gave countless hours to others. My condolences to the family and all that knew and loved Frosty.

I have known Terry since school days but our paths have crossed many times since then. Many years ago when I was living back in Athens briefly, Terry lived just down the street from us. Then later on after I remarried, we connected as part of the Sons of the Union Veterans doing Civil War re-enacting and encampments. Its been a while since I have seen Terry but he was a great guy. We had a lot to talk about every time we met up. My condolences to Edna and the family, he will be missed. Sorry I can't be at his service since we are in Florida for winter but my thoughts & prayers will be with you all. Rest in Peace, Terry.

Seeing this great picture of Terry brought back many fond memories of him. Most are of him in hunting gear. He was always very nice to me.

Lt. Frost (Terry) was one of my first supervisors at the Athens Police Department. He was firm, fair, and even made our midnight shifts fun! He loved his family, his country, and his community. He was a friend of mine and will be sorely missed. Rest, brother, rest, you earned it.

A great friend. Whom I enjoyed and feel so lucky to have known. He invited me to go on a Veterans Phesant hunt. We had such a great time. I continue them annually, and they will never be the same without my friend. Love ya buddy. My condolences to Edna and his family.
