Michael Noonan Obituary

Michael W. Noonan

ORANGE, MA — Michael W. Noonan, 59, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 5, 2021 from injuries sustained in a car accident in Athol.

Mike was born in Lowell on March 16, 1962 and graduated from Hopkins Academy. He later took classes and graduated from both Fitchburg State University, Fitchburg, and Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner.

For over 5 years, Mike has owned and operated his store he loved, "Just Stuff" in Athol. He had also worked as a para-legal, was a certified auctioneer and jack of all trades. He was very knowledgeable when it came to technology and computers.

During the pandemic he became a composer of music and songs, which he enjoyed playing on his guitar as he greeted people in front of his store.

He was the best father and quite a jokester, especially about being on a diet, a "see food and eat it" diet.

Mike loved life and was excited for the second part of his life's journey doing what he wanted.

Always active, Mike enjoyed hiking, kayaking, going to the YMCA and other gyms for weight lifting and he really loved snacking! He ran Spartan courses, enjoyed camping and antiquing.

Survivors include his children, Ashleigh Arcucci of Meza, AZ, Samantha Watson of Worcester, Lindsey Watson and Jaysen Watson, both of Orange; a granddaughter, Chiara Arcucci; his other half, Brenda Cope of Orange; extended family, Stephanie Smith and Stephen Smith; grandchildren Damien Smith and Lucy Smith; sisters Lisa Noonan and Laurie Noonan; brothers, Brendan Noonan, James Bernardi and Chris Bernardi; as well as nephews and nieces.

Mike was predeceased by a brother, HJ Noonan.

Calling hours will be held on July 20th from 4-6 p.m. at Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.

Following calling hours there will be a time for memories to be shared.

To the family, the service was beautiful..The kids did a wonderful job.. To Michael.. Your were my love.. My gym mate.. My antique hunting mate.. My life mate.. Michael dreamed of his new life.. Of experiencing all the things he wanted to do.. Which were many.. We never know how much time we have together do we? I'm glad for the time I had with him . He was a devoted father and a loving partner.. He was kind and generous.. And like the stories told at his funeral.. Always helpful.. He loved to laugh and found joy in even the worst situations.. He was hopeful..Radiate positive vibes like the print he gave me said..... He will be missed and loved..I love you Michael Wayne Noonan.. I miss you dearly and my heart is broken...
