Seth J. Clarkson

Athol, MA - Seth J. Clarkson, 33, died Saturday, April 15, 2023, after injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

He leaves his three children Collin, Alexander and Ivy Clarkson all of Athol; his parents Eileen (Haddad) and Steven Clarkson; sister Faith and husband Josh Hunt; brothers, Noah and his wife Jamie all of Athol, Matthew and his wife Ashley Clarkson of Orange; six nieces and nephews, Brett, Bryleigh, Lucas, Kaylee, Makennah and Lillyanna; a half brother, Steven Clarkson, Jr; his grandparents, Richard Haddad of Boston, Rebecca (Bentley) (Haddad) Gosse of Hubbardston, Kenneth and June (Cote) Clarkson of Barre; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many, many friends who will miss him dearly.

He was born in Worcester on March 8, 1990. He was a 2008 graduate of Athol High School where he received the MVP award in 2007 for playing football and helping to win the game in the last few seconds with the score being 14 to 13 Athol. He worked as a logger and loved his job very much.

Seth loved his family, especially his children, which all he wanted to do was spend time with them, it was all he thought about. He enjoyed four wheeling, absolutely loved cooking, it didn't matter what it was he was cooking but it had to have prosciutto in it along with BBQ, going to the ocean, clothes, planning for the future, enjoyed watching Patriots football game, weightlifting, trucks, and gaming. He had a dry/wet sense of humor; he would always make everyone smile and would always be willing to help people out.

He was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle and grandson. Seth will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. But, he died doing what he loved. He leaves behind so many happy memories. Everyone he would come across and have a conversation with would be smiling and had sarcastic answers for everything!

Calling hours for Seth will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 12 noon to 3:00 pm in the Fiske Murphy and Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA 01364.

Following the calling hours, a reception will be held at the Lithuanian Club, 365 South Street, Athol from 3-7pm.

There will be no formal funeral services, and his burial will be private.
