CHANDLER, Adeline Homegoing Services for Mrs. Adeline Mapp Chandler, of Stockbridge, Georgia, formerly of 343 Leland Terrance will be held TODAY, Saturday, November 10, 2012, 1:00 P. M. at Welcome Friend Baptist Church, 3198 Bouldercrest Road, Ellenwood, with remains placed instate at 11:00 A. M., Dr. John A. Smith, Pastor, Calvin Mapp, Officiating. Interment South-View Cemetery, Atlanta. She is survived by children, Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Linda) Kight, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Chandler (Mary), Mr. Sidney Chandler, Ms. Vanessa Chandler, Ms. Marilyn Chandler, Mr. Barry Chandler, Mr. Allen Stephen Chandler, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Chandler (Charlotte), and Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Hastine) Reese, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 485 Brunswick Circle, Stockbridge, Georgia at 11:30 A.M.: Donald Trimble Mortuary, Inc., 1876 Second Avenue, (404) 371-0772-3.

Dear Grandma,
Let me start by saying I love you. You were the only grandparent I got to meet. Every moment we spent together and every laugh I shared with you fills my heart with warmth and joy. I think about you everyday. I know that you have moved on to a better place and has rejoined Grandpa. I couldn't have asked for a more loving, caring and wise grandmother than you. If God will come to me today and say that I can have any mother that I want.I pick you..... Ma you taught me how to over come bad situation by praying and believing in God. I remember when you taught me the lord's pray I thought it was funny. What I won't I give to have my childhood like back just to have you in my like..... I remember the time that I would not go to bed until I kiss you good night.....you always said life is short now that you gone it is short.... I though that I had you for a life time even though you told me this day will come... Well that day finally came that you use to talk about so much,that one day.I was blessed to have grown up with you in my life.I learned a lot from you and about you,we did alot of things together,you've shown me so much in life and about life .I've had the pleasure of loving you,listening to your jokes telling us stories about the family past and present just a life time of memories fire me I'm so thankful for everything you've giving me. I will never forget anything about you from your soft Indian hair,skin complexion,the way your eyes change 3colors,learning the mood you were in by your eyes ,your smile and yes your personality.I will forever you in my heart and soul.I'm blessed,honored happy to have had a special(in every sense of the word)granny in my life,I pray that when and if I'm a granny I'll be the granny you were,always in my heart forever.

There is not a day that goes by when I don't think about my Mee Mee! I hear you humming while walking from one room to the other. I see you sneaking sugar in Lynn's greens. I listen to your scary stories or your funny memories of growing up in the country. I miss how brave you were when having to remove s wild bird from the house.
