I met Adrian Daane when he gave a discussion on his role with working on the Manhattan Project. I thought he was fascinating and enjoyed his lecture so much. He was such an intelligent and pleasant person and I appreciate all that he has contributed to our country!!

God's blessing on Adrian's family and friends. I remember him fondly from his days as our head in the chemistry departent at KSU. The department, as well as the entire university community missed him very much after his departure in 1972. He left a truly fine legacy at KSU. He will always be remembered here.

Adrian:
Thank you for being a wonderful friend for so many years. I don't believe I ever saw you in a bad humor. You were constantly engaging, interested in just about everything and always excited about learning almost anything. Mostly, you were wonderfully accepting and always made me feel like one of your family.

I will never forget when I first met you. You had driven over 100 miles to repair an automobile you had lent your daughter, Susan and me. You were as always good natured and never uttered a critical word about having to drive that distance to rescue someone you'd never met who could not reconnect a loose hose to a radiator! That is just the first of many memories I have of your graciousness and generosity. The best to you, my good friend, and much love to all your precious family.
