Family-Placed Death Notice
ALMA RAMEY Alma Ramey, age 88, died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Ramey was born June 26, 1919 in Charlotte, N.C. Her husband, Joseph and son, Franklin, predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Joseph (Ethel), granddaughters, Tracy and Keisha and a special niece Maureen Koon Hagwood. Mrs. Ramey was a long time resident of Atlanta and member of St. Paul AME Church, 1540 Pryor Rd, Atlanta, GA. She retired from NJ Bell in 1987 to care for her mother in Elizabeth, NJ. In 1989, she relocated to Atlanta, to be with her children and remained until her death. A memorial homegoing service is scheduled for October 5, 2007 at St. Paul AME church, 1540 Pryor Rd, Atlanta. Service will begin at 1pm. Wages and Sons Stone Mountain, GA 770-469-9811.
