Andrew Guy Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Mr. Andrew J. Guy, Sr., age 86 of East Point, GA died Wednesday, February 28, 2007. A graduate of Boys High in Atlanta, Mr. Guy was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran. He retired as a production manager with Cluett Peabody, Inc. after 47 years of service. Mr. Guy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and also a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he was a 4th degree Knight of Council 660. He is survived by his sons, Andrew "Andy" Guy, Jr. of Cumming, GA; David G. Guy of Sandy Springs, GA and Anthony Guy of Marietta, GA; daughters, Susie Garner of Gainesville, GA; Patricia Scott of Bartow, FL and Barbara Leahy of Lilburn, GA; sisters, Ann Marie Sullivan and Sister Louise Guy, both of Columbia, SC; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 3 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Msgr. Daniel J. O'Connor, celebrant. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening March 2 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Patterson's Spring Hill Chapel where a rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial tributes and condolences may be posted by visiting www.mem.com.
