The McGowan Family,
Many may not realize what kind of impact Andy had on my life. Ever since I started working at BJ's nearly three years ago I've had a strong closeness towards him. Anyday of the week I would look forward to seeing him and sharing any conversation that seemed to float from his mouth. I've grown up without a grandfather so I often become strongly attached to older male figures in my life; but with Andy I had an amazing attachment that to this day when I walk out that door after a long day at work, I still can't wait to see him. I regret a lot of things I've done to Andy; for one, his biggest concern for me was the fact that I never took advantage of my surroundings, got a hold of my life, and started school on time. I wish that Andy could still be with us in the fall when I do start, I know he'd be proud of me. I also regret being unable to say, "Goodbye Andy, have a good day" on the last day that I saw him. It something to small as that that has kept Andy in my thoughts, where he will always be. Peace be with you all.

Dear Uncle Andy, You will be greatly missed in our family. Since Granny passed away, you were our rock. I know I will see you again some day and I hope you are making the angels smile in Heaven as much as you made us smile here in this life. I thank the Lord for the Blessing of you! We miss you and we will love you forever, Your Niece, Kim Bremer and Family

I first met Andy after I married Janie Johnson, who also lived on Bascomb Lane. Andy was smiling and eager to shake my hand and greet me into the neighborhood. We talked many times since that first meeting and his sense of humor and joy for life always shown brightly. It's an honor to call Andy a friend. Janie and I always looked forward to saying hello to Andy and we will miss his smile and quick wit very much when we visit BJ's. He will be missed. Our sympathy goes out to the entire family. God Bless.
