Anna Childs Obituary
Anna Frolia Childs, 99, of Pawling, NY, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, at her daughter's home.
Born on February 27, 1926, in New York City, Anna was the daughter of Ljuba (later "Amelia") Persich and Anton Frolia, whose surname was anglicized from Frojia, of Croatian origin. She attended Washington Irving High School and worked for the War Department before marrying Harold Childs on October 27, 1946, in New York City.
After many years in Chelsea, NY, Anna and Harold relocated to Brookhaven, GA, in 1970. A devoted Christian and active member of her community, Anna worshiped at Glad Tidings Tabernacle in New York and later at Skyland United Methodist, Mt. Paran Church of God, and Chamblee-Tucker Christian Fellowship in Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Harold; and siblings, Anthony Frolia and Catherine Villani. Anna is survived by her daughters, Pamela Childs Delena and Cassandra "Cassie" Childs Mitchell; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Charlotte and I have known Ann and Harold since they moved into our neighborhood. They have been wonderful friends and we enjoyed their hospitality on many occasions. I look forward to joining them in heaven some day. Love to Pamela and Cassie

My friendship with Anna was when she was at Mount Paran and remembering that she had gone to Skyland Methodist. Harold had already died by this time, but ohhhhhh, how Anna loved her Harold ! I remember many many times when Anna had a bunch of Christian ladies over for lunch......and what an AWESOME cook she was ! I had had a vision of my husband after he had passed, and over and over she'd ask me to repeat it, since in the vision we had talked to each other. Each time I saw her, it was the first thing out of her mouth...." Please Carol, tell us again of your talking to Barrett after he died ". I totally was aware that HER mind was on her Harold while I told it. And NOW......N-O-W...
FINALLY , ANNA is with JESUS.....AND her Harold......
