Family-Placed Death Notice
GAARE, Anne Marie ANNE MARIE GAARE Anne Marie Gaare, age 58 of Atlanta, died peacefully after a period of declining health on Saturday, October 24. A memorial service will be held Wednesday October 28 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Carmichael Funeral home in Smyrna. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday October 27 at the funeral home. Born in New York, Anne was raised in Baltimore and attended Arch Bishop Keough High School. She later graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Biology and an M.B.A. She was employed for more than ten years in computer sales with Digital Equipment Corporation in the Washington D.C. area. She moved to Atlanta to start an Alpha Graphics Franchise with her brother Robert in 1993. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend who cultivated multiple lifelong relationships with dear friends. Surviving are Brothers and sisters in law Robert and Cathy Gaare of Marietta John and Jean Gaare of Charlottesville, VA. Nieces and nephews Michael Gaare, Sara Gaare, Eric Gaare, Jean Gaare Eby, Kari Gaare, Meghan Gaare. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Georgia 2951 Flowers Road South, Suite 211, Atlanta , GA 30341

Dear family,
My deepest condolences to you, and may you be comforted by all who are touched by Anne's death. I worked with Anne during her time at Digital Equipment Corporation. I remember when my 2nd son was born, I brought him to the office and she just adored him. She loved holding him in her arms. What a lovely lady! Bless all of you, and may her memory live on.
