Family-Placed Death Notice

Annie C. Hancock, age 75, of Lilburn, GA, died Saturday. Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 29 at Warm Springs City Cemetery, Warm Springs, GA. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM this evening (Monday) at the residence, 5368 Ashley Dr. Lilburn, GA. Mrs. Hancock was born August 23, 1928 in Atlanta, GA, a daughter of Arnold D. Haygood and Laura Hazelrigs Haygood. She was a real estate agent and was a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Stone, Mountain. She had served in the Civil Air Patrol during WWII. Surviving husband, Andrew M. "Buck" Hancock, Lilburn, GA. a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Cathy Hancock Hicks and Gary Hicks, Hartwell, GA and a sister, Evelyn Parks, Lithonia, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1-800-342-2383. Smith-Steele-Meadows Funeral Home, Manchester, GA (706)846-3131.

Buck,

The love you and Carolyn shared was an inspiration to us all.Although her voice has been silenced she will be remembered here on earth as well as in heaven by our heavenly father. She was a throughly good and decent person. May God comfort and bless both you and Cathy.
