Arthur Lee Keenan

KEENAN, Arthur Lee Arthur Lee Keenan, age 85, of Conyers, died October 17, 2015. He moved to Decatur in 1963 where he lived until he moved to Conyers in 1990. Lee was a member of E. A. Minor Masonic Lodge No. 603 F&AM and an active member of the Shrine. He retired from the Atlanta Journal/ Constitution where he worked as a Newspaper Press Room Foreman for over 25 years. Lee enjoyed fishing, attending his grandchildren's ball games, and family "get togethers." A dedicated father and grandfather, he was known as "PaPa" or "Coach PaPa." Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Betty Keenan; daughters, Sherry Compton and husband, James, of Conyers; Lynne Farrington and husband, Scott, of Conyers; son, Tony Keenan and his companion, Deb Henry, of Conyers; grandchildren, Drew, Brett, and Lane Keenan, Clay, Matt, and Leah Fancher, April, Valerie, and Melanie Farrington; ten great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 12:30, Saturday, October 24, in the Lithonia chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Dave Benson officiating.
