I think of Barbara, her children and especially how her family has added grandchildren since her passing. I know for a fact how she loves her children so I know her children has really made her proud by giving her the gift of intelligent, beautiful and healthy grandchildren. Tynisha, Maurice and Tiara I know it's a physical struggle when you want to reach out and talk to your mom, I know because I've recently lost a parent and I'm struggling with it, but believe me when I say all you have to do is look at your children and there she is, she's even in you guys, so please keep living like she raised you and pass it on to your children. You've guys have done so well for yourselves I know she's very proud of all of you. Love you and God Bless all of you!

I've known Barbara since she was in her early teens and came from Cleveland, Ohio after the tragic death of her own mother. She's been like a part of my family since. She overcame many difficulties of her own, but her outreach to others was beautiful. She loved her children first and foremost, but she had plenty of space in her heart for many people.

My deepest condolences to the family for the loss of your mother. Barbara has gotten her Golden Crown and at Peace; playing with the Angels, one being my mom. It's hard now, but it will get easier with lots of faith, prayers, and time. May God continue to bless you. Maurice and Tiara, pray for strength during this period of darkness; for only God will lead you to the Light. Look forward to seeing her again on the other side. It did not dawn on me that this was your mom until I opened the paper and seen a picture of Maurice. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom as I know how much she loved you guys. I always remembered her to be a hard worker when she was at the Comfort Inn. She will be truly missed. Please call me if I can help in any way at 4049187337. I've known Mrs. Barbara 9 years as if she were my own mother. I'm not sure how I'm feeling, how i'll feel or what to say to. God, called on her Sept. 20th,2009 not because her job was done here on earth but because God needed her up there with him. It was time for her to go, go home where she now will watch over her kids. I'm lost for words. Mrs. Barbara you will truly be missed. I'll see you again some day. May god bless you & your family.

I got to know Barbara through her compassion for helping others. The little time I got to know Barbara, I found a lady who very often put others before herself. It was because she truly cared about others that caused her to help a stranger on the roadway. The Lord decided it was her time at that very spot. I suppose he felt she could help many others from where she is now. ANGELS are always near to those who are grieving. They whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hands of the LORD.
My condolences to her children; I know she loved her family very much because she told me so. She will be missed and I will miss working her. She was a sweet spirit.
