Family-Placed Death Notice
TURNER, Bernard The Victory Celebration for Mr. Bernard "LaLa" Turner, of Atlanta, will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008, 1:00 P.M., at Thankful Baptist Church, 830 West College Avenue, Decatur, with remains placed in state at 11:00 A. M., Reverend J. Marks, Pastor, Reverend Frank E. Middlebrooks, Officiating. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends in our chapel this evening from 7:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. He is survived by mother, Jimmie Mae Turner; sons, Bernard Turner and Bernard Turner, Jr.; brothers, Alphonso Turner and Tracy (Lola) Turner; sisters, Kim (Sidney) Moore, Rabin Turner, and Jan Turner; dear friend, Darlene Thomas; grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble 72 Douglas Street, Atlanta at 12:00 NOON: Donald Trimble Mortuary, Inc., 1876 Second Avenue, (404) 371-0772-3.
