Betty Felker Grant passed away on October 5, 2025, at age 101.

She was born on February 13, 1924, in Bostwick, GA, to Jack and Frances Felker, and grew up in Atlanta.

Betty married Paul Clifford Wagnon in 1943; they had a daughter, Mary Frances "Mimi" Wagnon. Cliff was killed in action in 1944 and posthumously awarded the Silver Star.

In 1947, Betty married Dan Lee Grant, an Air Force pilot who completed 36 missions over Germany. They moved to Perry, GA, and later lived in Houston, Atlanta, and St. Simons, where they enjoyed golf, travel, and a full social life. Dan passed away in 1988 after battling Parkinson's disease.

Later in life, Betty lived at Mount Vernon Towers, where she cherished friendships, playing bridge, and singing with the "Melodears." She was also a member of Sandy Springs Methodist Church for 40 years.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lawson Spence; grandchildren, Scott (Trisha), Jeff (Karen), and Leigh Jackson (Brian); and great-grandchildren, Connor, Owen, Sophie, and Mia.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 14, H.M. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, located on Allen Road. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:30 AM, followed by a reception.

Betty will be remembered as a gracious hostess, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and an elegant Southern lady.
