Beulah Toler Decker

MATTOON -- Beulah Toler Decker, age 84, of Mattoon, passed away in the presence of her loving family at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Douglas Care and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services honoring her life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Flowers officiating. Interment will follow in Mound Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday. Beulah was born May 11, 1922 at Danville, Illinois, a daughter of Roy Grover and Annetta E. (Walker) Morrow. She married Clarence Toler September 24, 1943 at Charleston, Illinois, he preceded her in death April 21, 1982. She later married Robert Decker January 15, 1983 at Mattoon, he preceded her in death August 8, 2003. She is survived by her children, Mary (Quast) Bough and husband Michael of Ashmore, Karen Sue Nichols of Mattoon and Charles Toler and wife Bonnie of Mattoon. She also leaves a brother, Alfred Morrow and wife Judy of Wichita, Kansas; a sister, Dorothy Moutray and husband Albert of Mattoon; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. One daughter, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Beulah had worked as a private babysitter and was a former employee of Gill's Drive In and Walk In and the Dinner Bell. In her leisure time, Beulah enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading and listening to country music. Memorials may be made to the family.
