Billie Harris Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

Billie Cole Harris, age 71, of Atlanta passed away on Friday, September 16, 2005. She was born on May 11, 1934 to John W. and Louine M. Cole in Greensboro, N.C. She retired from the business world about five years ago. Billie is survived by her daughter, Gayle Williams of Greensboro, N.C; brother, W. Maurice Cole of Tucker, GA; nephew, Gregory S. Cole and his wife Joan; and grand nieces, Autumn and Amelia Cole, all of Douglasville, GA. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 21st at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro, N.C. Rev. Bob Vorhees will officiate. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions to the American Cancer Society, 2200 Lake Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30319 or to a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.

Billie's company was a client at the firm I work for, and we met that way. We used to do some Christmas shopping and general running around. Our day(s) always ended at Dunkin Donuts for coffee and something sweet. We had so much fun and she was such a wonderful friend to everyone.
