Bobbie Holland Wade passed away peacefully from a long battle with dementia in the early morning hours of August 27, 2025 at The Addison in Sandy Springs, GA.

Bobbie and her twin sister, Billie Holland Camp, were born on November 1, 1935 in Maysville, GA to Latrelle and J. T. Holland. Bobbie and Billie were both basketball stand-outs leading their high school team to a GA state play-off in 1951. Following graduation, they moved to a home for girls in Atlanta and worked in the typing pool at Liberty Mutual.

Bobbie and Billie had a double wedding on June 16, 1957 to Thomas C. (Jerry) Wade and Alan Camp.

Bobbie lived most of her life in Stone Mountain and Tucker, GA. She worked for many years at her beloved Smoke Rise Baptist Church. Bobbie loved playing bridge, doing jigsaw puzzles, watching the Braves, and traveling with her friends, aka, "the Posse". She will be remembered for her intellect, kindness, spirited personality, and quick wit.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jerry; her son, Todd and his wife, Carolyn, and their children Corinna and Alexandra; her daughter, Elisha and her husband, Bob, and their children, Evan and Clint; her twin sister, Billie; and many extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future time. In the meantime, ladies, put on your lipstick because as Bobbie often said, "any old barn looks better painted."
