To the Welch and Thornton Family. My heart is indeed saddend to hear about the loss of Brandon. Brandon was smart and always had something on his mind. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you. Let not your heart be troubled. Trust in God for he will be there for you. Look to the hills because that is where your strength lies. May God be with you in your time of need.

My heart is heavy right now. Brandon and I have been through a lot together and have always been there for each other. The entire family is in my prayers.

When I was a young girl, about thirteen or so, I loved babies. Everyday afterschool, I'd go to the Thorton's house to pick up Brandon, who was about five months old. (His brother Jemmie, had gotten too old my all my love and attention.) He was a delightful, smart and sweet little boy. Chunky and cute, he'd let me feed him, bathe him and arange his hair. I would hug him and kiss his little face and wonder what life would be like for me when I grew up and had kids of my own. Right now, I am still childless, but when I do bring kids of my own into my lfe, I'll have to let them know how Brandon taught me all I needed to know.
