To the family of Carlton Lee. You have lost a very kind and compassionate man of honour. I feel priviledged to have known Carlton. He was proud of his family and loved all of you very much. I considered myself a "member of the family".

Uncle Carlton was one of the family heroes. A kind and loving Southern gentlemen, a soft-spoken easy going man whose manner belied his ability to be an outstanding leader. Like St. Peter, he was the rock that could be counted on when anyone encountered difficult times. He will be missed greatly.

My Uncle Carlton was an American Hero, Southern Gentleman, Family Patriarch, Wonderful Husband, Loving Father, Uncle, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. The earliest memories of my life include him. My thoughts and prayers are with my Aunt Sue, Cousins David, Johnny, Lyndall, Janie, Nancy, their families and all the extended Lee and Rogers family. I wish I could be with you all to honor and remember this great man.

My Granddaddy was a wonderful man, and our family's devotion to him during his last days are a tribute to that. We have been truly blessed to have been a part of his life and to share the many blessings he bestowed upon us all. May God grant us peace during this time of tragedy. I love you all. Susie
