LAWSON, Cecil Cecil Lawson of Atlanta, Georgia passed Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Piedmont Hospital. He was 72 years old. He was employed by Atlanta Beverage Company (Budweiser) for 51 years. He leaves to Cherish his memories, wife of 51 years, Helen T. Lawson, 6 children: Arlecia L. Battle (Ron); Cecil L. Lawson (Samiriah); Timothy K. Lawson; Ronald K. Lawson and Prisca L. Lawson, Tommy Stewart, stepson, Robert Horne, siblings: Arvella Taylor; Mary T. Hunter; June Lawson (Corrine); Winston Lawson (Juanita); Virginia Lawson; Charles J. Lawson (Jackie); Nathaniel Lawson (Cheryl), grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, cousins, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, God-children and many friends. The Homegoing Celebration will be Monday, October 26, 2009 at 1pm, Zion Baptist Church, 709 S. Mulberry Street, Jackson, GA 30233. Rev. E. Leonard, Pastor, Rev. Kenneth Aveirls, officiating. The family will receive guests on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 5-7pm at Lewis Sims and Son Funeral Home, 263 North McKibben Street, Jackson, GA 30233.
