Dr. Charles Corley

CORLEY, Dr. Charles Arnold Dr. Charles Arnold Corley, 83 of Morrow, GA, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was born in Atlanta, GA April 14, 1935 the youngest of four sons to Sallie Bailey Corley and Luther W. Corley. He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Anne Corley, son Joseph Mitchell Corley and his three brothers William L. "Buddy" Corley, Joseph E. "Gene" Corley, and Harold L. "Leo" Corley. Dr. Corley starred on Sylvan High School and Georgia Military Academy football teams and was dubbed "Tiny Corley" by the Atlanta Journal Constitution for his small stature. He later traveled to Davenport, Iowa where he attended Palmer Chiropractic College and met his wife Cynthia Bauguess. He returned to Metro Atlanta where he started his Chiropractic Practice. Doc, as he was affectionately known, was loved by many for his wit, his humor, and his big heart. He is survived by his children Charles West Corley and wife Cyndy, Athens, GA.; Tracey Lee Perkins and husband Gar, McDonough, GA.; Christopher L. Corley and wife Cynthia, The Villages, FL.; Grandchildren: Sean Corley, Grant and Carter Perkins, and Nicolette and Cameron Corley. A celebration of Dr. Corley's life will be held on April 26, 2018 at 11:00am at the First Christian Church of Stockbridge, 102 Valley Hill Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
