Charles Pritchard Obituary


Family-Placed Death Notice

PRITCHARD, Charles Charles Joseph Pritchard, 72, of Roswell, GA died on April 16, 2008. A native of Kankakee, IL, Mr. Pritchard retired from Binks Mfg. after 37 years and then served as Government and Aviation Sales Engineer for Global Finishing Solutions until his retirement in December, 2007. Mr. Pritchard served as a Specialist Four in the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1961. A lifelong military history buff, Mr. Pritchard also enjoyed competing in marathons and biathlons, often finishing in the top of his age group, even as recently as early April, 2008. Mr. Pritchard is preceded in death by his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Pritchard of Kankakee and is survived by his wife of 43 years, Roselyn Pritchard of Roswell, GA; daughters, Lisa (David) Mayfield of Macon, GA and Sandy (Jeff) Donnenwerth of Roswell, GA; sister, Marilyn (David) Matthews of Herrin, IL; grandchildren, Christina, Andrew, Caroline, and Sarah Grace Mayfield, Miles and Emma Donnenwerth. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 675 Riverside Rd., Roswell, with Monsignor Daniel O'Connor, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2008. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Boy Scouts of America Atlanta Area Council, 1800 Circle 75 Parkway, SE, Atlanta, GA 30339.
