Family-Placed Death Notice
WHITETREE, Charles Sergeant First Class Charles Lee Whitetree of Tyrone, GA passed away April 22, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tahni Palmer; grandparents, John H. Barron; Charles Whitetree and is survived by his father, Charles Ray Whitetree of Durham, NC; brother, First Sergeant Patrick Whitetree of Fort Bragg, NC; daughter, Lilee Ray Whitetree of Odenville, AL; wife, Ellen Whitetree of Zebulon; grandparents, Mildred Barron, Nancy Whitetree; brother, Bubba Brown of Lafayette, LA. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with ChaplainKeough officiating. Those wishing may send an online condolence at www.parrottfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675 or www.woundedwarriorproject.org. or Sandra Moeglin, Treasurer c/o Ashley White Stumpf Memorial Scholarship 10320 Moulin Avenue Alliance, OH 44601. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, 770-964-4800.

To the family of SFC Whitetree...I am so sorry to hear of your loss. He was a great man, and I am grateful for having gotten to know him through the Army. He will be sorely missed, by a great multitude of Soldiers. RIP brother, All the Way, Geronimo!!!
