Christine CATANZARO Obituary

CATANZARO, Dr. Christine Dagmar Dr. Christine Dagmar de Catanzaro died peacefully in Atlanta, Georgia on April 15, 2016 at the age of 67. Christine is survived by her husband, Jay David Bolter, and son, David Joseph Bolter, of Decatur, GA. She is preceded in death by her mother Joan (Needham) and father, Carmino de Catanzaro of Ottawa, Canada. Christine was born on March 17, 1949 in Toronto, Canada. She graduated from Trinity College in Toronto with a bachelor's degree in History; she earned several music degrees culminating in a doctorate in Musicology from the University of North Carolina. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00pm on April 23, 2016 at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, located at 1790 LaVista Road in Atlanta, Georgia with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Christine's life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Bartholomew's Church Music Fund. Online condolences may be expressed at www.csog.com.

My heart goes out to Chrisine's family at this time. I will miss Christine very much. She was a good friend to me, as well as a knowledgeable colleague. My deepest condolences.
