I was very fortunate to meet Mr. Burnette before his passing. I got to spend time with Paula ( daughter) and will always treasure that. I feel honored to have met such an awesome family. Just to be around such a man and his art is something I will never forget.

PJ and Clyde changed my life. While both were admired for their paintings, the relationships they nurtured with friends and family became their real masterpiece. I am so very lucky to have known them and learned from them.

I was so sorry to hear of your sweet father's death. I remember all of the hours I spent playing with David and creating art in the big downstairs studio. I will always remember Clyde and PJ Burnette with smiles on their faces and even from my childhood perspective it was clear that they were very much in love. I lost my Mom Wylene in November so I will think about them all together at a big cocktail party in the sky.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Burnette's passing. My father, Jody Brown worked with him at BDA/BBDO and considered him a friend. My parents had an original painting by Mr. Burnette and it was passed on to me. It's hanging in my bedroom and I adore it.
