Survivors include his wife, Maylis Allah-Kouame Howell; parents, Wilford (Doris) Howell and Yvonne Askew Wright; siblings, Alexis (Patrick) Wellmaker, Brian Howell, and Jarrad Wyatt; grandmother, Bertha Howell and Nellie Ruth Askew; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
