Daniel Graham Obituary

GRAHAM, Daniel Yanko

Daniel Yanko Graham died July 8, 2023, at Grady Memorial Hospital from complications from a fall from a ladder on June 30, 2023 in Lithonia.

Despite the best efforts of the good men and women of Grady, many of his underlying medical issues contributed to the inevitable outcome.

Daniel is survived by his two older brothers, Patrick Graham of California, and Barry Graham of Georgia; his two beloved daughters, Bella and Jose Graham; their good and kind mother and ex-wife, Sam Molineaux, all of NM; and his mother, Anne Dorthey Kalcevic of GA. Also, his three nephews, Walker, Declan and Sullivan Graham of California.

No day in my life shall pass without 'fond an loving' memories of my Dear Youngest Brother. His was a beautiful surrender.

Wow, I am late to this, Danny was a dear friend I grew up with as a teenager, he was fiercely loyal but antagonistic and stubborn as could be. He was in my wedding as a Groomsman. Danny was a dedicated hard worker at whatever he did. We had a lot of good times as young adults. I think about him often, always have. Best regards Danny, hope to see you on the other side. RIP brother.

Nothing but fond memories of spending afternoons at the park with Daniel and our girls. He was always willing to help if there was a need. Man we had plenty of laughs together. There were many evenings spent having dinner with our families.Lots of laughs! I truly miss those times and will cherish them for the rest of my time. You are at peace my friend. "The dude abides"

My family loved Daniel very much. This news was like a punch to the gut. My first thought was of the girls. Our family has countless memories of camping trips and time spent together at Montessori. Daniel was kind to me even when I didn´t deserve it. He was the kind of guy who would tell you the brutally honest truth but in a way that you could laugh about it. I can´t look around my house without seeing his handiwork somewhere. The world is a darker place with his loss.

From Darren Harris. Long term friend. They didn't just break the mold when they made Daniel Graham. They shattered it, crushed it into a fine powder and flung it to the stars. What a trip he was!!!. He told me many stories both repeatable (and not) that were beyond bizzare. None of them embellished. He was not that type of dude. Whichever end of the spectrum you are on, know this: Daniel stuck to his beliefs, probably more strongly than anyone I have ever met. And I have met the countless. He was a character of the first degree which I attract and dig. He also had character, ditto on that. His love for his daughters was evident in our every meeting. It broke his heart to bits not to be near them.. His love for animals like his Ridgeback Scout was touching. I hadn't seen him in quite some time. Now I truly wish I had stayed in better touch. One of a kind Mr Graham. I will miss you brother.....selah.
