Daniel P. Tyndale, 79, of Sea Pines died Friday at the Hilton Head Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 19, 1927 in Atlanta, GA. He graduated North Fulton High School and was a 1948 graduate of Georgia Tech. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the Georgia Tech Marching Band. He attended the Army OCS. He was a member of the Cherokee Town and Country Club, Sea Pines Country Club and was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church on Hilton Head Island. He is survived by his wife Suzanne Smith Tyndale; daughter and son-in-law Mark and Sara Thompson of Atlanta, GA; son Daniel Ashford Tyndale of Lawrenceville, GA; son and daughter-in-law Daniel P. Tyndale, Jr. and Amy Tyndale of Colorado Springs, CO and son Michael R. Tyndale of Sharpsburg, GA; a sister Jackie Tyndale Watt; grandchildren Tyndale, Gary, Alexander, Caitlin, Joshua, Chip, Matthew and Connell and a niece Suzanne Hyer and her husband Steve with children Ginny and Mary Kate; nieces and nephews William Tyndale, Nancy Shaufle, Katherine Robertson, Shane Kerfoot, Paige Watt, and Ty Watt. Services will be held at the Sandy Springs Chapel on Mt. Vernon Hwy, Wednesday, February 7th at 11 AM. The Pall Bearers will be John C. Tyler, Richard Perkins, Tommy H. Thompson, Robert Klass, Charles Smith, Richard Bondurant, Steve Hyer and Michael Nestlehutt. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, P.O.
