David T. Hightower, Sr., age 69, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia. David was the son of Rev. Dr. J. E. Hightower. David was a devoted, loving and great father to his children, Dr. Tiffany R. Hightower, David T. Hightower, Jr. and Brian N.. Hightower (Mercede), and a loving and devoted grandfather to his five grandchildren.
A Viewing will be held at Alfonso Dawson Mortuary, Inc., 3000 M.L.K. Jr. Dr. SW, Atlanta, GA 30311, on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at Greater Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, 4555 Campbellton Road SW, Atlanta, GA 30331, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM. Immediately following the service, he will be laid to rest at Lincoln Cemetery, Inc., 2275 Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW, Atlanta, GA 30314.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing and celebration of life, and/or send flowers and condolences to Alfonso Dawson Mortuary, Inc. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
