Deloris Roberts Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Celebration of Life Services for Deloris Ann Roberts of Atlanta, GA, will be held Saturday, June 24, 2006, 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel A.M.E. Church, 1140 Henry Thomas Drive, S.E., with remains placed instate at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Quinton Gresham, Pastor, Rev. Harold Dennis, Officiating. Interment, South-View Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends this evening, Friday, June 23, 2006 at the chapel from 7:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. She is survived by a companion, Johnny Dennis; two sons, Johnny Roberts (Margarita) and Stanley Roberts (Marquita); twelve grandchildren, Shunionta, Joel, Stanley, Jr., Takita, Chiurazzi, Stantavious, Quan, Lil Johnny, Dimitrius, Kijana, Zikkirra and Que; three great-grandchildren, Shuntesis, Tamiyus, Jr. and Tamaiya; three brothers, Rev. Luther Dennis (Dorthy), Norris Roberts (Bernetta), Vernon Kemp; ten sisters, Joyce Dennis, Brenda Thrasher (Bobby), Phyllis Britt (Connell), Sharon Dennis, Nadine Burnett (Spencer), Gloria Bryant, Barbara Turner (Johnny), Shelia Archibald (Donald), Shelia Kemp, Angela Roberts (Mallory); and a host of friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence, 276 Chenault Place, N.W. at 12:00 Noon. Donald Trimble Mortuary, Inc., 1876 Second Avenue, 404-371-0772-3.

Hi Ti-Ti,
I miss you so much. I had a problem on Monday that was so serious and the only person I knew who could handle it was you. I didn't have you to call on and it made me realize I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. The only thing I keep hearing is your voice and telling me it's going to be OK. I love you and I will never forget you.

I have known "Auntie Prune" for over 15 years through my best friend Desheka. I consider their family my family. When your family hurt, I hurt. I am so very sorry for the lost and know that she will be greatly missed but not forgotten. Just remember that she is in a better place looking down on a family and protecting each one of us. God makes no mistakes and needed his Angel to come home and complete his duties.
