Alesia Roberts Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Phinazee & Son Funeral Home - Waynesboro on Mar. 27, 2026.
Alesia McLaine Roberts, affectionately known as Lele, was born June 19, 1970, to Betty Jean Fuller and Samuel Brazier. She was reared in Philidelphia Pennsylvania the early teenage part of her life.

She was educated in the public schools of Pennsylvania. In 1987, she moved back to her roots in Georgia where she continued her education at Waycross Ware Technical School, there she received a certificate in the medical field as a certified nursing assistant.

She was employed by Plant Vogtle, a nuclear facility in Waynesboro GA, for 10 plus years and was currently employed by Austin Industrial where she operated as a document control engineer for seven years.

She loved her family with a passion and she made it known to all us. She loved traveling, dining, and spending time with her family and friends, but her favorite past time was loving on and spoiling her grandchildren.

Alesia and James met in 2014, and they were united in Holy Matrimony on January 26, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Fuller & Samuel Brazier, her Stepfathers, Joe Retha (Jake) McLaine, (who played a very important role in her young adult life as a dedicated Dad) Otis Fuller Jr., and her only sibling, Jacqueline Grier.

She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory, her husband of seven years, James Roberts; Her father and mother-in-law; James (Glenda) Roberts, Sr.; Four sons, Antoin McLaine of Fort Lauderdale FI, Neamiah Brown of Valdosta, Samuel Brown of Waynesboro Georgia and Jurrien Roberts of Waynesboro; Four daughters, Tierra Brown of Perry Georgia, Tytiana, Semaiah Roberts of Waynesboro and Kirah Brown. Six grandchildren, Bryce Poole, Neamiah McKael Brown, Samuel McKhi Brown, Ariel Brown, Nolan Brown and Adaya Smith (plus one expected little one (Ne'mauni Avani Faith) that she didn't get to spoil). Four brother-in laws, Damien (Jessica) Roberts, Octavius Roberts, Kendrick Roberts and Omari Addison. Three aunts Agnes Jenkins, Patterson; Vivian and Lillie Milledge, both of Offerman GA; Thre uncles Johnny Milledge, Franklin {Gloria) Milledge and Herman (Janet) Mitchell of Ft. Washington MD. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly. Alesia touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her sweet spirit, kindness, generosity and humor.
