Donna McCall Obituary
On Tuesday, January 5, 2021, Donna Lorraine McCall (Kress), loving wife to Tom, passed away at the age of 89. Donna was born in Mitchell, SD on September 29, 1931 to Lorraine and Hoddy Kress. Donna graduated from the University of Iowa with a BS in Nursing and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Her career in nursing touched many lives and put her 5 children through college. Surviving is her husband, Thomas McCall, whom she married on December 26, 1953, as well as their 5 children, Lynda White, Tom McCall (Terry), Susan Caufield (Tom), Rick McCall, Kendall McCall (Tracey), 10 grandchildren, Caity, Ray, Thomas, Shea, Cameron, Torrie, Jack, Leila, Leah, Quin; brother, John Kress; and sister-in-law, Virginia McCall. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Lou Mayhue.
Donna spent many hours on the golf course with Tom, and even more hours playing Bridge at Rivermont Country Club, where she was a member for many years. She always made a house into a home as the family moved throughout the States. Donna enjoyed traveling and holidays with the family.
A special thanks to Donna's amazing caregivers, Claudia and Jackie (Kadan Corp.) for the love, devotion and care they have given Donna these past years. Also, thanks to Agape Hospice Care.
A private family service will be held in the near future. Memorial donations can be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, 760 Pollard Blvd., SW; Atlanta, GA 30301 or The Agape Hospice Care Foundation, P.O. Box 801087; Acworth, GA 30101.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, 210 Ingram Ave; Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
