I am so shocked and my heart is broken. I just learned of Rocky's passing last night. So many memories of Rocky and the Reeves family, beginning when we were in kindergarten Prayers for all of his family.

I was saddened to learn of Rocky's passing today. He was a great man, eagle scout, scout master, philanthropist, businessman, father, husband, son and one awesome dude. He was a generous sole who gave back to his community and friends the wealth that he enjoyed as the founder of Mellow Mushroom Corporation. He was a leader and he a true supporter of his church. He strove everyday to make this world a better place. He will be missed. This world is lessened without him in it.

So devastated to learn of Rocky's passing. We met at Campbell High School and he was my very first love. He was so special and I always knew he would be extremely successful. Always thought of him when my family went to Mellow Mushroom. My condolences to everyone in his family.

thanks for being a descent roommate and good guy during the early 70s. I tried in vain to reestablish contact. but now it will have to be in heaven.

In 1970, Rocky and I shared a room with two others, James and Gary, in Tower dorm at Tech. Rocky quickly found a place in TKE, but we followed his professional journey with pride, eating at Mellow Mushrooms in Durham and even in my native DC.

My deepest sympathies to the family and community.

Rocky was a huge part of my church life! He was so generous and always had kind words for us. I feel honored to have known him since I was a little girl, growing up along side his daughter, Misha. He had a lovely singing voice and we loved hearing him play guitar during the service. Rest well, Rocky. We love you.
