I worked for Ed at Lockwood Greene, he was a great mentor and friend. What a great friend - would always give me the correct advice! Our families spent time together with his wonderful wife Charlotte. I will always miss his knowledge and the way he always passed it along to everyone.

Charlotte, I don't know if you remember me or not. Ed and I went to Sandy Springs together you and I met at a couple of the reunions and our fathers worked for Coca-Cola together. I am so sorry for your loss.

Ed always said what was on his mind, no beating around the bushes. I thought alot of him for that attitude.

I am distressed to learn that my good friend and former boss for almost twenty years has passed away. I worked for Ed Sutter at Lockwood Greene, Simons Eastern, and Stone and Webster and although in retirement was considering again working for him as little as a few months ago. Ed Sutter was a talented engineer and an excellent manager and I admired him and learned a great deal from him. I will miss him as will many others who had the good fortune to work for or with him.

I have finest 30 years long memories of Ed as my boss, mentor and a friend to have fun with. I have always valued Ed's integrity and professional judgement. His early departure is very sad.
Rest in peace, Ed! You will be in my memories.
