Edward Francis Leahy III

LEAHY III, Edward Francis (Ted) Age 78, of Suwanee, GA passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Diane Austin Leahy of Atlanta; daughter, Kimberly L. Biggs and husband, Randy; Sons: Edward F. Leahy IV (Ted) and his wife, Michelle; Michael A. Leahy and his wife, Katrina; Ted's brother, William Michael Leahy and his wife, Barbara; ten grandchildren: Drew Thomas and Stephen Austin Biggs; Edward Francis V (Ted), Sydney Brooke, Shannon Michelle and Ariel Grace Leahy; Corrinne Nicole, Hannah Elizabeth, Michael Hayden and Leah Raye Leahy. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward F. Leahy Jr and Nancy Baker Leahy; sisters: Joan Leahy Costley and Ann Leahy Pottage. Ted retired as General Manager of CEA Honeywell Aircraft Wheels and Brakes Ltd. In Shanghai, China. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Atlanta and Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Ted served 12 years in the US Army Reserves ending his duty as Captain. The viewing will be held at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory: 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, Ga. On Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 6 -8 p.m. A Memorial Service Honoring the Life of Ted will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Dunwoody Community Church: 2250 Dunwoody Club Drive, Atlanta, Ga 30350. A motorcade will depart for Arlington Cemetery for burial service. Afterward, family and friends will gather back at the church for refreshments.
