To Coach Shelton, Your Precious Kids and Family -- I just recently heard of the passing of your wife. I had the pleasure of meeting Elease at Browns Mill Park when our son, Brandon, played ball with Jaylen and you helped coach their team. I am truly saddened to hear of her passing. She was such a pleasant person to be around and had a beautiful spirit about her. I enjoyed our conversations when we discussed and exchanged information on where to send our children to get the best pre-school learning and loving. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very difficult time. Please do not hesitate to let me know if there is anything we can do.

To the Shelton and Dobyne family. My heart goes out to all of you at this time and I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Elease. I am a close friend of Dr. Culley and Dr. Crawford and I am also your neighbor. I met Elease briefly last year on our block and our paths crossed again in Drs. Culley and Crawford's office a few months ago. Although I did not get a chance to know her well, I still feel very saddened to hear of her passing. Please remember she is now home with God resting in peace.

I am Trina Newby, business associate of Elease and I especially will miss her smile, her professionalism and most of all seeing her in the parking lot and being able to exchange information with each other. I will continue to keep you in my prayers and thank God for the time I have known Elease.

God will see you through your pain and leave you with the memories of joy!

To Dr. Courtney Shelton, Jalen, Jaxson, Evinn, Stephanie, and Parents. My heart is so very sorrowful of the loss of (your)our, precious Elease. I fell in love with the Sheltons first with Jalen, who I had the pleasure being his childcare provider for three years then Jaxson. Elease was the very essence and vessel that God used in transitioning me from work in a childcare system to being a business owner of childcare. I have such a love for Elease because of her culture and expertise and her refinement. Elease wrote a letter to the State of Michigan for me to receive my Childcare License, she also assure me that I should put my name in front of the business name because that was who I was. I have been operating Kay's Shining Stars for the last six years. With the encouragement and dedication from Elease I thank God I knew Elease and she will always be a part of Kay's Shining Stars. I send my sincere condolences and a love for Dr. Shelton, Children, Parents and Stephanie. God Bless You

To the family of Elease Shelton: My deepest sympathy is extended at this most difficult of time. My prayer and love are with the family. In time the heart heals, leaving us with memories not of our sorrow, but of the love we have known. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.

Your family welcomed us into the neighborhood with open arms as the LORD has welcomed Elease into his gates. She will be missed, but she is home now. I am paying for your family. I pray that we will still have the joy of watching our children laugh and play together, as Elease will be watching and protecting them from above.

To the family of Elease Shelton, I did not personally know Elease but felt a bond with her through one of my best girlfriends, Lisa M. Walker. It is my prayer that you will find peace with God in knowing that Elease has transitioned to heaven and is smiling and dancing with the angels, as she is free of all pain and suffering. May God bless the Shelton family and keep you strong during this dark hour.
