Elizabeth Edwards Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
EDWARDS, Elizabeth Elizabeth "Tillie" Edwards passed away at home September 20, 2008. She resided in Naples for eleven years. She was a wonderful wife for Grady "Bud" Edwards for sixty-nine years. The "Queen" lived a wonderfully full life. She was born in Macon, Georgia, lived in Key West, West Palm Beach, Naples, Florida and Highlands, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Sr, "Bud", and her son, Grady Jr. She is survived by her son Gus Edwards of Naples, FL. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Sandra Sarratt and two great grandchildren, Jani and Fin Sarratt. Services will be held at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, Macon, GA on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 2 P.M. with the Rev. Pheron Stuart officiating. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her name at Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105. A memorial service is planned for January in Naples, Florida. Just heard of Aunt Tillie's passing and am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed but remains in all of our hearts forever. She is now with her loving Bud and Buddy.

What a lovely Southern lady and Southern gentleman Tilli and Bud were - such wonderful people to know. Feel so lucky that they lived in Atl for awhile so I could meet them.
Gus, they were lucky you were so near and such good help.
Know only too well that the "buffer" is gone when the last parent dies.
