Family-Placed Death Notice
LUPOE, Errol L. Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Errol L. Lupoe will be Monday, March 26, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 6175 Campbellton Road SW, with remains placed in state at 11 a.m. Dr. Aaron L. Parker, Pastor, officiating. Interment South View cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Betty W. Lupoe; sons, Darrell (Yvette) and Antonio; grandchildren, Rolandria, Justice, Jr., Demetrius, Avantae, Amare and Armon; brothers, Michael (Barbara), Anthony (Brenda) and Alexis; sisters, Rosalind E. Byrd (Walter), Josette D. Frank-Morris (Michael, Sr.) and Karen M. Blount (Fred, Jr.); several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Herschel Thornton Mortuary, 3346 M.L. King Jr. Dr. (404) 691-4685.

To The Lupoe family, a true family of the Pittsburgh community:
Although I hadn't seen Errol for a couple of years, he is one that I could never forget. I'll always remember the days playing football in Pittman Park as kids and as we got older, our time together in our "LE BEAU FLAPPS" Social Club. He was the one that kept everybody laughing and in good spirits. We were the only group of guys in the city to have our own gym to play basketball whenever we wanted to (Ben Hill) because of him. He, along with Kermitt Williams and Bobby Tuggle, will truly be missed by the rest of us "Old Flapps"...Alvin Copeland, Wayne Finnie, Melvin Cullins, Blackie Simpson, Frank Moss, Kelton & Kenneth Gresham, Ronald Davis, Michael Phipps, and Harold Moore. Just know that all is well and that we all truly loved the guy.
Trust in The LORD He will bring you comfort.
