My sincerest condolences are extended to the Bothwell family. My heart is heavy with sadness at the loss of a Best Friend. I'm thankful for the opportunity to have worked with Gene for many years and our continued bond of friendship after his retirement.
I will cherish all of the memories and pray that God will bless Billie and the family with his sufficient grace and peace that surpasses all understanding.
Rest in Peace my Friend.

I once asked Gene Bothwell what was his goal for his
working life. He replied that he wanted to do the best
at whatever job he did.
I would say that he was very successful. Professionally, Gene was a finish contractor for high quality spaces. Restaurants. Offices. Etc. For the business owner who wanted the best finished space, Gene was your guy. You could be confident that when he was done, your place
would be exactly what you envisioned.
It occurred to me that while Gene's medium was facility construction, his real magic was his character of doing
right. Do the right thing. Do it right. Do it right now. Especially when no one is watching.
Though it has been discarded by many, character counts.
Gene Bothwell was an icon for that premise.
