Gene's songs remain an inspiration, a motivation, and a legacy of a truly anointed singer. I listened to him under big gospel tents as a child and now in my 70's still touched and inspired. The anointing of God on a person's life is truly profound and amazing. Who can know the mysteries of God? I picture him leading a huge crowd of angels in song as whole heaven rejoices. What a legacy!! Thank you Gene for your obedience to God.

His music was the perfect complement for the Ministry of A A Allen. My name is Roberto Rubio, I'm Cuban, a Pentecostal brother in faith from old school times told me about the ministry of A A Allen. You could not even conceive those wonderful services without the music of Rev. Gene Martin. It is really sad, but now you know he is singing for God in heaven surrounded by his angels.

Earth's loss is Rev. Martin and heavens gain. From the time Rev.A.A.Allen came to Dayton, Ohio, about 1960,bringing such an annointed singer, we the DeLoney family have loved you. Mom, Dad, Pam, Marcia, Greg and myself remember all the good times of friendship, fellowship, and ministry we shared. What joy we had in choirs, your preaching , and times around the table at home. We pray for the love ones left behind, may they have God's peace. I will miss you, and never forget u, till we meet again. When you arrived in heaven last week, I can almost her the Father say, as Rev.AA.Allen often said, "Gene, sing somthing! "
