Granddaddy, I will miss your humor and your sense of self. You always knew who you were and what you believed. You were my inspiration. I can't believe we won't be talking about the Braves or the Bulldogs any more, or looking at the new years bed of roses in your yard, but every game, I'll be thinking of you, and every time I see a rose, I'll have your memory. The world is just a little emptier without you in it. I love you, Granddad.
