Family-Placed Death Notice
Memorial service for Mr. George Ray of College Park, GA., will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. in our Cascade Chapel. Mr. Ray was a longtime resident of Daphne, AL., until he moved to Atlanta in 1999. He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted daughter, Marsetta Ray, of College Park; granddaughter, Tarsha (Bill) Henry of Winston-Salem, NY; grandson, Gerard McCassity of Germany; daughter in law, Linda Mims of Fayetteville, NC; sisters in law, Idell Jones and Edwina Jones of Daphne, AL; Carrie Shaw of Mobile, AL; Ann Dunn of Monticello, NY; and Leola Hibbler of Hempstead, NY; brother in law, Edmund Jones of Daphne, AL; other relatives and friends. Homegoing service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 12 noon at Mt. Aid Baptist Church, 9470 Highway 90, Daphne, AL. Pastor George Collins officiating. Johnson Allen Mortuary, 600 Chestnut St., Mobile, AL. in charge of arrangements. Murray Bros. Cascade Chapel, 1199 Utoy Springs Rd. SW (corner of Cascade Rd. near I-285). 404-349-3000. mbfh.com.
