Gordon O. Larson, 85, of Smyrna, died Saturday, September 17, 2005. Mr. Larson was president of Larson Construction Co., Pittsburg, PA, Vice President of Century City, Inc., Los Angeles, CA, and Construction Project Manager for the following projects; The Colorado National Bank, Denver, CO, The Trammel Crow Co., San Francisco, CA, The W.R. Grace Development Co., Newport Beach, CA, Bay Heritage Financial, San Francisco, CA, S.K. Brown Construction, San Jose, CA, Sequoia Financial, San Francisco, CA and Squaw Valley, CA, Beers Corporate Services, Atlanta, GA. He was President of Castle Shannon Rotary Club, Pittsburg, PA, a member of Syria Shrine, Pittsburg, PA, and the Kiwanis Golden K., Smyrna, GA. He was a volunteer for MUST of Smyrna, GA, and was a member of the Smyrna First United Methodist Church and Matthews Sunday School Class. Survivors: wife of 62 years, Helen McCombe Larson. Daughters: Kristine L. Huber of Smyrna, GA, Susanne L. Martin of Walnut Creek, CA. Sons: Eric W. Larson of Danville, CA. Gregory O. Larson of Newport Beach, CA. Sister: Lillian Schultz of Pittsburg, PA. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Smyrna First United Methodist Church with Rev. Stuart Green and Rev. Barbara Hatchell officiating.
