I met Grady when he was managing the Vidalia branch of Oxford Industries when I was a CPA with Young, Garber & Company when we got Oxford qualified as a publicly-held company. I watched his progress within the company for many years. Grady was always a very pleasant gentleman and a very effective business man.

Lou and family, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Grady Jackson.
I had the priviledge of meeting Grady for the first time at a AAMA meeting in Scottdale back in spring of 1978 with many memorable encounters to follow.
As a Swiss/Canadian to me, Grady Jackson personified the very distinction of a "Southern Gentleman"...one in a million; forever gracious, wise and honourable.
I will always remember Grady Jackson with profound fondness!

Lou and family, so many are saddened by your loss. Grady will be remembered and appreciated always by the hundreds of apparel students he helped at Southern Tech and at the University of Georgia and by those who worked with him to help start and elevate careers in the apparel industry.

Dear Family of Grady Jackson,
It was an honor and priviledge to work with Grady at Oxford Industries. He treated everyone with dignity and a genuine smile. After he retirement, I always looked forward to his visits to the office or phone calls. His spirit lightened up a room.
God Bless You Grady. You will always be remembered as a true gentleman.
