Sad news; just read about Greg's passing in the Emory Magazine. Gregg was a fraternity brother and a good guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest In Peace, Greg.

Greg, I just learned of your passing on FB and I am overcome with grief for you and your lovely family.
We worked together for such a short time at Aspect in 2000. But, working with you, Stephanie, and Doug for 12-15 hours most days; training by day and developing new programs by night, it was easy to make friends.
We spoke often of our families and shared wallets full of photos. I can still hear your voice, laughing on the phone with your beautiful wife and baby girl. I remember that you were all waiting excitedly for baby William to arrive and you just wanted to get home. Your hope, great humor, boundless energy, and genuine heart were contagious. You kept things lighthearted through the exhaustion.
More importantly, I recall your character, intelligence, and ethics. I have never forgotten your advice when we spoke about the sales training mentor program that I wrote. In an environment where 75% was good enough, while trying to ‘move a battleship in a bathtub’, you said, “Always give it your best, because this is your time away from family and your name is on it.”
We were putting in the time for a great career ahead. And, you, my friend were so right... Our entire team developed an award winning sales training program. And, it was actually that mentor program which opened the door to a fun startup with another sensational team. It was wonderful to learn that it was later replicated globally across all departments at Aspect.
Our best efforts paid off. But, years later, we just laughed about the antics and long days. You could have cared less about the accolades. You cared about the people in your life, the friends that you made along your journey, and the challenges of the day.
It’s been years, but now easy to recall with this sudden, and much too soon, news of your passing. I just meant to catch up… I didn’t know that I’d be saying goodbye. Greg, you will always have my respect, admiration for the trail that you have blazed, and your family will always be in my prayers.
Peace, love, and laughter be with you and your loved ones always.

Greg you will be missed and the news of your passing was heartbreaking. We met during our time at Aspect and you were a good soul and a person I enjoyed keeping up with. Work and family kept us too busy to connect on a regular basis but regardless if it was a business lunch or ALTA match whenever we got together it was like we saw each other every day. I pray for your family to find the peace, comfort, strength, and healing they so need during this difficult times. RIP

This is such a great loss and heartbreaking. I loved working with Greg and although we hadn't seen one another in many years, we have kept in touch via phone calls and facebook. He always shared how much he loved his family. May you cherish all the wonderful memories you shared with him. Your family is my prayers.

As a long-time friend of Greg's father-in-law, Henry Arnold, I've heard so much about this wonderful man, and I've seen many photos of Greg and his family. I am shocked and saddened by this great loss, and you will all be in my prayers. He leaves a wonderful legacy behind in his family, and I know his memory will be cherished forever. I was saddened to hear of Greg's passing last week and still saddened as I think about this every day. Although I only spent one USC Parent's Weekend with your family and a couple phone calls and several texts back and forth the last year or so, I could sense he was a special person to many. The tributes I've seen from family, friends and co-workers have been incredible. I wish we had lived closerI would have definitely enjoyed a closer friendship with Greg. I've been thinking and praying for all of you all week and wish I could have made the trip to the memorial. Hope to see you again soon. May God watch over you and comfort you in the weeks, months and years to come.

Henry, Laney, Anneliese, Katherine and William,
I am heartbroken for all of you. I have enjoyed seeing your pictures of family gatherings and of your travel adventures. Mom (Grandma) use to say
'go make memories'. And, by the looks of things, your family made many happy memories. Hold on to these memories forever until you meet again. Love to ALL of you. -Maggie

Such a beautiful soul with a beautiful family. Greg truly enjoyed helping others enjoy life. He made sure we knew all about where to go and how to enjoy kayaking when he and Anneliese loaned us their kayaks. I've heard many times "he was one of the good guys" and, arguably, one of the best. Blessings to the whole family during this difficult time.

Mycareer history in both the military and the corporate environment involved myidentification of leadership potential in young people. When Anneliese firstintroduced me to Greg, I relied on my 30 years of assessing character to forman opinion, and, it was an immediate recognition of the right stuff, thestuff of drive, discipline, and determination, blended with very large measuresof human compassion, sensitivity, and love. 24 years later I could not havewished for a better son-in-law, father of my grandchildren, and devoted husbandof my daughter. It is with great sadness that we will miss Greg, but we’ll beforever lifted up by the wonderful memories of his presence.
