Family-Placed Death Notice

DAY, Harry, Jr. Harry Allan Day, Jr., age 81, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on June 6, 2010. Our beloved husband, father, and Papa has gone home to be with the Lord. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Mildred "Georgia" Day; three children, Linda Day Eads and husband, Gary, H. Allan Day, III and wife, Marie and Nancy Day Easterlin and husband, Lynn; his grandchildren, Mike, Carrie, Ryan, Abbigale, Tyler and Jesse; great grandchildren, Daniel, Molly, Davis and Audrey; brother and sister-in-law, Robert E. and Barbara Day, Ft. Myers, FL; sister, Dorothy Hittinger, Cincinnati, OH; with many nieces and nephews. Mr. Day was born in Florida. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He moved to Atlanta, GA in 1947. His greatest pleasure was his family, his work at Harry Day Piano Co., fast cars and fishing. He will long be missed by the many lives he touched. Memorial service with military honors will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Joan Millsap of Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, GA officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Peachtree Christian Hospice, 3430 Duluth Park Lane, Duluth, GA 30096 in memory of Harry Allan Day, Jr. Arrangements by: Junior E.
